I’m Mitch, an IT operations leader based in Salt Lake City with 7+ years of experience managing and securing mixed-platform environments for organizations across healthcare, education, and hospitality.

Most of my time is spent on the things that keep infrastructure reliable: network architecture, endpoint management, compliance programs, and the automation that reduces how much any of it requires manual attention. I’ve designed PCI-compliant networks, deployed multi-site VPNs, led MDM rollouts across Windows, macOS, and mobile fleets, and responded to incidents ranging from misconfigurations to ransomware recovery.

Apple environments are a particular strength. I’m an Apple Certified Support Professional and Jamf Certified Associate, with hands-on MDM experience across Jamf, Addigy, and Mosyle. My investment in the Apple platform runs deep enough that it led directly to my organization earning Apple Consultant status.

On the tooling side, I work regularly with Proxmox, VMware, Docker, Wazuh, Huntress, and a healthy amount of PowerShell and Bash to tie it all together.

Outside of work I’m a new dad, a home cook, and someone who runs a probably unreasonable homelab. It keeps the skills sharp and the curiosity alive.

I care about the people on the other end of the technology as much as the technology itself. Good IT should support the way people actually work, not the other way around.
